My approach to therapy to collaborative, compassionate, and deeply client centred. I recognize that you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to walk alongside you as you work toward the changes that matter most to you. I draw from a range of evidence-informed modalities, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT), Narrative Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all model, I weave these approaches together thoughtfully, adapting to what resonates most with you and what best supports your goals. Above all, you can expect a warm, non-judgmental space where you feel genuinely heard, respected, and supported every step of the way.

I hold an Honours Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Trent University and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), and I practice under clinical supervision to help me reflect, grow, and ensure my clients are always receiving the best care possible.
Over the years I have invested in a range of additional training, including EFIT Essentials through ICEEFT, Trauma-Informed Approaches, Foundations in Cultural Safety, and most recently a Narrative Therapy Summer Intensive. I remain committed to ongoing professional development, supervision, and consultation to ensure my practice stays ethical, culturally responsive, and truly client centred.
Alongside my formal education, I have spent several years working in the mental health field supporting neurodiverse children, youth, and their families, and volunteering as a crisis line worker with Distress Centre Durham. These experiences have grounded me in the realities of what people carry day to day and have deepened my belief that feeling truly heard is often the first and most powerful step toward healing.

I work with adolescents and adults navigating a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, behavioural challenges, trauma, and family stress. I have a particular passion for supporting people who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or like they haven't quite found the right fit in therapy before, and I take pride in creating a space where clients feel safe enough to do real, meaningful work. My background in crisis support and neurodivergent care has also given me a strong foundation in working with diverse presentations and life experiences. I am committed to practicing in a way that is inclusive, affirming, and responsive to each person's unique identity and background.

Outside of my work, I enjoy staying active through fitness and weightlifting, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, and unwinding with movies or TV shows. I value these moments as ways to recharge and stay grounded because I believe that showing up fully for my clients starts with taking care of myself too.
